ジョー選手に関するCAS（スポーツ仲裁裁判所）の裁定について

名古屋グランパスは、2022年6月15日にCAS（スポーツ仲裁裁判所/スイス・ローザンヌ）が、ジョー選手（ブラジル国籍）とコリンチャンス（ブラジル国）に対して下した裁定を肯定的に受け入れます。
この決定は、ジョー選手の契約違反にあたって、クラブがジョー選手との雇用契約を解除する正当な理由があり、ジョー選手およびコリンチャンスが支払うべき契約解除金を認定したものです。今回の裁定により、クラブの公正さが立証され日本サッカー界の信望が守られたことを肯定的に受け止め、この裁定に関わった全ての関係機関・関係者の皆さまに感謝を申し上げます。

Nagoya Grampus welcomes the decision passed by the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) of Lausanne, Switzerland on 15 June 2022 in the case opened against the Player Joao Alves De Assis Silva (Brazil) and Club SC Corinthians Paulista (Brazil).

The decision confirms the just cause in favour of the Club to terminate the employment contract of the Player, in light of his contractual violations, and awards a compensation in its favour to be paid by the Player and the Brazilian Club.

Nagoya Grampus is grateful to all its officials involved on this case and it is satisfied by the fact that the good faith of the Club has been established and the entire reputation of the Japanese football has been safeguarded.
